In addition to what others say about it, I thought I would add that when you fold back the cover, the back surface is a rough suede and when sitting on the ground with my knees raised, there is enough friction to hold the kindle on my nearly vertical thigh without using my hands. It was a nice discovery on a hike this weekend. I can also do it in bed. The standard Kindle without cover is way too slick to do this. I just hope the cover I'm getting with my new Kindle 3 works as well. -- It allows me to rest my Kindle 2 on a raised knee
I've been using this for a year now, it is so durable.
And doesn't show wear or dirt at all. -- Great Cover
